The Role
Most Java engineers in trading spend their time maintaining a platform someone else designed.
This one starts from a blank page.
You’ll build the real-time connection layer that pulls live data from multiple cryptocurrency exchanges and keeps it in sync. That layer becomes the backbone of a new trading platform launching next year, so the design decisions you make now are the ones the whole platform runs on.
You’ll join a small, new engineering pod working closely with the wider global team, and you’ll be in early enough to shape the architecture rather than inherit it. If you’ve built trading systems at an OMS or EMS vendor, a market data house or a bank, you already understand the hard part.
The crypto side you can pick up.
What makes you a great fit:
Crypto knowledge helps, but curiosity about the space is enough.
The broader technical team uses: Java, AWS, Kafka, event-driven architecture.
