About the Role

Wilverwater Digital Solutions is hiring a Front-End Developer in Santa Ana, CA, to create responsive, accessible and engaging web interfaces. You will work with designers, back-end developers and other technical team members to turn design concepts into functional web applications that deliver a consistent user experience.

This position involves developing interface components, integrating application features with back-end services, improving website performance and maintaining existing front-end applications. You will contribute to technical discussions, review implementation requirements and help ensure that new features work reliably across browsers and devices.

We are looking for a developer with practical experience in modern front-end technologies, sound coding practices and an eye for detail. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Build interactive application features and reusable components using React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes and prototypes into functional front-end implementations.
• Connect front-end applications with REST APIs and back-end services.
• Ensure consistent website functionality across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Write clean, reusable and maintainable code in accordance with project standards.
• Identify and resolve front-end defects, layout inconsistencies and browser compatibility issues.
• Improve page loading times, rendering performance and application responsiveness.
• Test new features and existing interfaces to verify functionality and visual accuracy.
• Work with designers to implement layouts, navigation elements and interactive components.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback into development work.
• Use Git to manage code changes and collaborate through version control workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate development updates, issues and dependencies.

What We're Looking For

• Three or more years of professional experience in front-end or web application development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks or tools such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS or Sass.
• Understanding of web performance optimisation, debugging and front-end testing.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and usability principles.
• Ability to interpret design requirements and implement accurate user interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and the ability to work with designers, developers and project stakeholders.

What We Expect

We expect front-end implementations to meet agreed design specifications, function consistently across supported browsers and follow established coding standards. Changes should be tested before release, with attention to responsiveness, accessibility and performance.

When technical issues arise, we value clear communication, practical troubleshooting and a structured approach to resolving defects. Developers should be comfortable discussing implementation decisions, identifying potential limitations and contributing to improvements in the overall development process.
