Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Product

Location: Remote – United States
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel: 40–50% to customer sites, primarily in Washington, D.C., and Tampa, Florida

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and deploy software solutions for complex, mission-critical environments. In this role, you will combine product engineering with hands-on customer collaboration, translating user requirements into scalable applications and delivering solutions directly into secure government IT environments.

You will work with a small, focused engineering team and take ownership of features from initial requirements through development, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack product features using React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Amazon S3.
• Collaborate directly with end users to understand operational needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design, build, and deploy software solutions in secure government and enterprise environments.
• Integrate applications with government IT systems, including data platforms, identity and access management (IdAM), security information and event management (SIEM), and cross-domain solutions (CDS).
• Own the complete development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture through implementation, testing, and production deployment.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure reliable performance across diverse operating environments.
• Work closely with product, design, platform engineering, and mission-focused teams.
• Travel approximately 40–50% to customer locations to support implementation and deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development or product engineering.
• Strong experience building modern web applications using React.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with Redis, Amazon S3, or similar caching and cloud storage technologies.
• Experience taking ownership of software features from concept through production.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying software in government, defense, intelligence, or other secure environments.
• Familiarity with government IT infrastructure, identity management, security monitoring, and data integration.
• Experience working directly with customers or end users in operational environments.
• Background in cloud-based applications, distributed systems, or data-intensive platforms.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.

Work Environment

This is a remote position for candidates based in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the New York City or tri-state area. The role requires substantial travel to customer sites, primarily in Washington, D.C., and Tampa, Florida.
