Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain scalable, production-ready software applications powered by Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

In this role, you will work across frontend and backend development, API integration, cloud infrastructure, databases and intelligent application development. You will collaborate with engineering teams and technical leaders to build reliable software solutions, improve application performance, troubleshoot complex issues and maintain high standards of code quality.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on full-stack development experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, backend services, REST APIs and internal developer tools.

Build scalable software solutions using Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++ or TypeScript.

Integrate LLM APIs and foundation model services into production applications.

Develop frontend interfaces using React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.

Build and maintain API integrations, testing frameworks, evaluation pipelines and application monitoring solutions.

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including relational and document-oriented data stores.

Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using cloud platforms and modern deployment practices.

Debug software issues, troubleshoot integrations, and improve application reliability and performance.

Review existing codebases, understand unfamiliar systems and implement solutions based on evolving technical requirements.

Collaborate with software engineers, technical managers and research teams on system design and implementation.

Maintain technical documentation, write automated tests and follow software development best practices.

Communicate technical findings, implementation decisions and project progress clearly.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in software engineering and production application development.

Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Rust, C# or C++.

Working knowledge of a second programming language.

Demonstrated experience in full-stack web development, including frontend and backend engineering.

Hands-on experience with React or an equivalent modern frontend framework.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, backend architecture and application integration.

Experience with relational databases and document databases including SQL and NoSQL technologies.

Familiarity with cloud deployment, application monitoring and production software environments.

Understanding of software architecture, system design, debugging and automated testing.

Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and take ownership of technical projects.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), foundation models, or generative language services into software products.

Familiarity with model APIs, application evaluation, telemetry, and performance monitoring.

Experience building scalable, cloud-native applications and distributed systems.

Knowledge of microservices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployment workflows.

Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in a remote environment.

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
