Overview

Seeking a senior engineering SME with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), strong Java/Spring Boot backend engineering capability, and modern React/TypeScript frontend experience. The role focuses on design, delivery, modernization, and support of digital marketing platforms.C

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Lead AEM modernization and migration efforts from AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot services and REST APIs supporting marketing technology platforms.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Build modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and production readiness of applications.
• Work with databases, APIs, and integrations to support enterprise marketing workflows.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, engineering best practices, and technical decision‑making.
• Support AI‑enabled product initiatives, including LLMs, RAG, agent workflows, and integration with external AI services.

Requirements

• 7–15 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Experience with AEM migration and cloud modernization (strongly preferred).
• Strong backend development experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production‑ready solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AEM migration to Cloud Service.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts including LLMs, embeddings, vector search, RAG, and AI agents/skills.
• Experience integrating model APIs and external AI services.
• Python proficiency is good to have.
