Job Summary

We’re seeking a Java Developer to design, build, and maintain reliable applications and backend systems. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teammates in an Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable web services and APIs.

Duties

• Develop and maintain Java applications, backend systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs; integrate web services using REST and SOAP.
• Design application architecture, distributed systems, and database solutions; support scalability and cloud infrastructure.
• Write and review code, debug issues, and create unit tests using suitable tools and version control.

Qualifications

• Software development experience with Java, object-oriented programming (OOP), software engineering, software design, and application development; knowledge of multithreading, distributed computing, and system design.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, database design, and at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MongoDB; familiarity with Hibernate or Entity Framework is useful.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
