Howell Ventures Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Operator / Programmer to join our team on the night shift!

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machinery, particularly EDM equipment, within a precision machining or mould-making environment.

This position requires an individual who is confident in their abilities, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and can work efficiently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, including occasionally working alone, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workplace safety.

Qualifications & Skills

· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating EDM machinery and working as a CNC Operator / Programmer is required.

· Highly skilled in setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and programming CNC machinery.

· Extensive experience in precision machining, preferably within a mould-making or toolmaking environment.

· Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.

· Experience working with materials such as P-20, 4140, 1018, H13, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Mold Max, and Ampco.

· Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, verniers, calipers, and height gauges.

· Basic knowledge of CAD software.

· Experience with mould component fitting, handwork, and polishing.

· Must be confident and comfortable working independently, including occasionally working alone, with minimal supervision.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

· Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precision components.

· Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, make sound decisions, and maintain productivity independently.

· Strong commitment to workplace safety and responsible equipment operation.

· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Pay: $15.90-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
